Jack Roberts was named assistant coach of the Saint Louis University men's soccer program in April 2023.
“We would like to welcome Jack and Abby to the Saint Louis University family,” SLU head coach Kevin Kalish said at the time of Roberts' hire. "We are always looking for the right people who embrace the values of SLU, our athletic department and our men’s soccer program when adding people into our team culture. Jack has amazing character as a person and will be a fantastic role model for our players daily.
“Jack will be heavily involved in all aspects of our program and will work hand-in-hand with Kevin Stoll to lead our recruiting efforts. Jack has a wealth of experience in college soccer and skill sets that we will utilize to make us better moving forward.”
Roberts has served assistant coaching stints at Brown, Stetson, Saint Leo, William Woods and Missouri State. The Leicester, England, native played college soccer at Missouri State and earned degrees from MSU in 2015 and 2018.
“I’d like to thank Kevin Kalish, Chris May and Dr. Janet Oberle for allowing me the opportunity to join the Billiken family,” Roberts said at the time of his hire. “I am aware of the rich history and tradition of Saint Louis University men’s soccer, and it is an honor and a privilege to become part of it.
“Coach Kalish, the staff and the student-athletes have built a special program here at SLU. I look forward to working with them each and every day as we compete for championships and strive for excellence in everything we do on and off the pitch. My family and I are so happy to be at Saint Louis, and I can’t wait to get to work.”
